Can I Claim on my private health fund?

Yes, if your fund recognises Yoga related therapy.

Do I need to arrive early for class or consultation?

Yes please. As a new Yoga or Meditation student please arrive 10-15minutes earlier to complete an information sheet and to settle into the Yoga class or your session. This allows the session to start on time and you to feel relaxed!

For ongoing Yoga and Consultations please arrive 5 minutes early to settle into the session and to ensure you maximise your time with us.

For existing Yoga students that need to update their details (eg: contact details, change in health status etc) please also come earlier.

How long before the Yoga class can I eat?

You will enjoy and gain more benefit if you come to each class on an empty stomach, that is only a light meal minimum 1.5hrs prior.  And no fluid within half hour of class, during or up to 15 minutes after class.

What do I bring to Yoga?

A Yoga mat is ideal, available for sale at class. A large bath towel will suffice in the interim. Also a blanket or jumper to keep warm during the final relaxation, savasana.  Pregnant women find an extra cushion or two beneficial for support and the final relaxation.

What do I wear to Yoga class?

Loose comfortable clothing, warm jumper. I encourage you to wear positive, lighter coloured clothes, particularly no black shirts/tops please. More details here.

What if I have an injury or I feel that I don't have a flexible body?

Please let me know at the start of class if you have an injury or restriction, so poses can be modified/avoided for you. You should always adhere to your personalised medical advice and work to your own ability or level, and this may change each class. There is no compulsion to do any or all of the poses, you just have to do what you feel is right for your body on the day. This is the practice of body awareness & mindfulness that I encourage you to develop at class! Please follow the advice of your qualified medical provider.
