Befriending Now

Today I took a step closer

To remembering.

And the beauty of the world

Opened up to me.

I found stillness in weeding

I found a joy,

An effortless connection

To each glorious movement awakening

I remembered

what simplicity looks like

Without craving

for something else or more

I relaxed into

Into now

And befriended it.

Nothing more.
